The Parc de Bellevue campsite with its panoramic view is situated on the Arvert peninsula, in the Charente Maritime, overlooking la Seudre, set between the land and the sea.
This is an oyster farming region, marked by strong maritime influences.
Swimming, surfing and windsurfing are all popular activities.
You can lie in the sun on the vast fine sandy beaches, rested and relaxed, lulled by the sound of the waves.
The water park at the Parc de Bellevue campsite, with its swimming pool, lagoon and children's pool are a place for games, swimming and relaxing on the large sun terraces.
There are lots of opportunities for bike, mountain bike and hiking trips.
There are so many exciting places to visit : the Ile d’Oléron and Fort Boyard, the islands of Aix and , the zoo at la Palmyre, Royan, la Rochelle, Rochefort and the oyster farming villages.
Nearby, you can visit the port of Avallon sur la Seudre (1 km) where the oyster boats come and go all day.
