What if you decide to spend your holidays in the campsite of the Parc de Bellevue, next to la Palmyre, in the Charente Maritime? Amid a park overlooking la Seudre, the Parc de Bellevue campsite with a stunning view is set in the heart of the peninsula of Arvert, between land and sea.
Known for its oyster faming and its strong maritime traditions, this region with character offers a healthy gastronomy based on seafood and fresh fish to enjoy along with one the delicious local wines. At a stone’s throw from the campsite, the cycle paths make it easier for you to go for a bike ride or walk and discover more of the surroundings and breathe in the salty sea air mixed to that of the Seudre River somewhat milder.
The Oléron Island, fort Boyard, the Aix and Ré Islands, the Palmyre zoo, Royan, la Rochelle, Rochefort, the oysters farming villages are certainly “a must see” places.
The comings and goings of the oyster boats of the charming neighbouring port of Avallon on the Seudre River (1 km) you might find interesting and something worth visiting. Therefore, it is worthwhile spending a few days or a few weeks at the Parc de Bellevue campsite in the mildness of the Arvet peninsula will enable you to recharge your batteries.

The Ocean, the Seudre River and the protected neighbouring nature make this an ideal holiday destination.
The Avallon port is only 1 km from the campsite and the beaches of Ronce les Bains are just 5 km away.
The area is not only suitable for hiking but also for walking, mountain bike riding or just cycling.
